We recommend using Mudlet for accessing and playing Nuke 2. This modern client supports

UTF-8: Modern and up-to-date keyset that works even with foreign characters. We do have a mini-quest that involves Japanese characters already. So make sure to set your client to UTF-8 mode (Options -> General -> Server Data Encoding: UTF-8 (Recommended).
