Weapons

Weapons on Nuke 2 can have a lot of different aspects. All weapons basic stat is the weapons Weapon Class which can be seen in the equip command, but a lot of different things may impact how the weapon behaves and which weapon is appropriate for the enemy you're facing.

Properties

Weapons may have special properties. These can be seen once wielded in the equip command.

  • 2 hands: This weapon is so big that it can only be effectively used by holding it with 2 hands. You can use commands like these synonyms ("with" and "in" are interchangable):
wield pole in both hands
wield pole in both
wield pole in both hands
wield pole in both arms
  • Versatile: This weapon can be used in one hands, but may have entirely different abilities if wielded in both hands. Typical commands to swap between these modes are:
wield nunchucks in both hands
wield nunchucks in left hand
  • Precise: These weapons are extra easy to score hits with.
  • Imprecise: These weapons are harder to hit with.
  • Disarming: This weapon is especially easy to disarm your opponent with. It may have some hook or other effect that does this for you.
  • Arming: This weapon somehow manages to make it easier for your opponent to hang on to his weapon.
  • Keen: These weapons are not necessarily sharper, but they do more damage.
  • Dull: This type of weapon do less damage for some flaw, design problem or error in the weapon.
  • Good grip: When wielding this weapon you are harder to disarm than with other weapons.
  • Bad grip: This weapon has some flaw, lack of a handle or other issue that makes it harder to hold on to.

Damage Types

When doing damage with any time of damage source, these types of damage can be done depending on the weapon you're using.

  • Force: A force that moves matter, like a shockwave from a grenade.
  • Ballistic: Ballistic damage is typically bullets from weapons or other things propelled at high velocity.
  • Fire: Damage from a fire source. This may start other fires or set you afire. Best of luck.
  • Acid: Acid damages skins and clothing that is susceptible to acids. Some materials may be impervious.
  • Electricity: Pure raw electricity running trough your limbs will boil you from entry point to exit point.
  • Blade: Sharp blades, swords, and other sharp edges cause blade damage.
  • Blow: Blunt attacks from clubs, hammers, unarmed combat and other simple damage sources.

Make sure you have the right armor to counter these damage types as well.
